Life and Work

Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher whose work undeniably altered Western philosophy. One of Nietzsche's most notable works is "On the Genealogy of Morals" (1887). Here, Nietzsche traces the roots of morality focusing on the transition from the usage of "good" and "bad" to "good" and "evil". While doing so, Nietzsche focuses on the effect morality has on the human condition. The ideas discussed in this work are some of Nietzsche's most profound.
